Fresh meat weeks in 2026

We will have fresh meat back monthly ( except January ) to link in with Wivenhoe Market on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

This will be WM ( Wigborough Meats, home produced ) beef, lamb and mutton, local pork and bacon, Sutton Hoo free range chicken and STUFF’D Pies.

The 2026 dates are :

• 18th – 21st Feb
• 18th – 21st March
• 15th – 18th April
• 13 – 16th May
• 17th – 20th June
• 15th – 18th July
• 12th -15th August
• 16th – 19th September
• 14th – 17th October
• 18th – 21st November
• 16th – 19th December

Orders for whole or half lambs are needed two weeks before.

Cutting instructions for beef, lamb and mutton are needed by 6pm the Sunday prior as well as orders for Sutton Hoo chicken, pork, bacon and STUFF’D Pies.

This is when the orders and cutting instructions are sent ready for processing first thing on Monday.

Regular Monthly Market

We do Wivenhoe Market on the 3rd Saturday of every month except January.

Congregational Church Hall, High Street, Wivenhoe CO7 9AB from 9:30 am – 1pm

Stalls are inside and out and there is a cafe serving bacon butties and wholesome soup as well as teas and coffee.

We are happy to bring along pre orders to save dissapointment. Just let us know by 6pm the Sunday before.
